About the Edition
The 8th Edition
Founded in 2018, Jewels Basel is the most intimate and curatorially rigorous jewellery and art salon in Europe. Each June, during the most extraordinary week in the art world, a small and carefully chosen circle gathers in Basel — collectors, jewellers, artists and those who have spent a lifetime cultivating an eye that cannot be rushed.
The 8th edition brings together the finest independent ateliers, Haute Joaillerie Maisons and contemporary galleries in the Salle des Rois at the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois — one of Europe's most beautiful rooms, redesigned by Herzog & de Meuron. Every exhibitor, every work, every guest is personally selected by Dr. Nadine Fink. There are no crowds, no compromise, no spectacle. Only the work, the makers, and the people who truly understand both.
To receive an invitation to Jewels Basel is to be recognised as someone who belongs in that room. It is not a ticket. It is a personal gesture of trust — extended to those whose sensibility, whose passion for the exceptional, and whose place in the world of art and jewellery make them part of this singular gathering.
In past editions, sponsors, exhibitors and partner institutions have organised their own exclusive events within the salon — private aperitifs, intimate talks, collection launches and collector gatherings. Each by separate invitation, each an occasion in its own right.

Precious Gemstones, Geneva
Crown Color
Crown Color is a Geneva-based house of precious gemstones, trading fine rubies, sapphires and emeralds for over twenty years. Its sources are the most storied origins in the world, Burmese and Mozambican rubies, Burmese, Sri Lankan and Kashmiri sapphires, Colombian emeralds, supplied no heat and no oil where the stone permits. Each gem is selected for the rarest combination of colour, clarity and provenance, and entrusted to leading jewellery houses and private collectors worldwide.
Fine Jewellery, Ireland
Rudolf Heltzel
Established in Ireland in 1968, Rudolf Heltzel is a second generation fine jewellery house now led by goldsmith and designer Christopher Heltzel. Working from Kilkenny, the atelier is known for a sculptural, light driven design language, where every surface is shaped to receive and reflect light so that metal and gemstone remain in constant dialogue. Each piece is made by hand using traditional goldsmithing techniques, intricate yet restrained, conceived not to follow trends but to become a modern heirloom that gathers meaning with wear. The result is a distinctly Irish voice in contemporary fine jewellery, craft led, precise, and made to endure.

David Pflugi
David Pflugi is a Swiss artist whose practice fuses painting, sculpture and performance into a single language he calls Fusionism. His hand built reliefs resolve into two distinct images when seen from opposing angles, turning movement and light into emotion and inviting the viewer to shift perspective. Shown in large scale works around the world, his vision extends naturally into jewellery, from marble to diamond, where the same play of form and viewpoint becomes wearable. At the heart of his world is the Fusion Factory in Laufen, part studio, part museum, part gallery, a home of creativity where art and jewellery meet.
